B) CYCLING
In Gorski Kotar, there are numerous marked bicycle paths that you can choose depending on the difficulty and the environment.

  • GORAN CYCLING TRANSVERSAL
    The Goranska bicikostala transversal is a new cycling route that connects all the cities and municipalities of Gorski kotar and their natural, cultural and historical sights and gastronomic delicacies. It takes you along existing forest and local roads with little traffic and is primarily intended for lovers of nature and mountain biking.
  • BICYCLE PATHS BROD MORAVICA
    Bicycle paths connect 38 settlements in the Brod Moravice Municipality, located on 63 km2 of greenery. Paths with a height difference of 200 to 670 m NW lead to the Delač house from 1644, the Turanj stone tower, the attractive viewpoints of Orlov and Kavranova stijene, or some of the 12 churches of the Brodmoravički region, which are best seen from the Parag hill. If you venture into the valley of the Kupa river, you can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, fishing or paintball. Wherever you go on these bike paths, you return to nature, and relaxation and pleasure are inevitable.

  • FUŽINAR CYCLING TRAILS
    Nine marked trails through the Goran area of the Municipality of Fužine, along with tours of beautiful viewpoints, driving around the lake, visiting famous religious buildings.

  • INTIMATE PATH
    Novi Vinodolski – Begovo Razdolje – this 45.5 km long trail leaves no one indifferent; it starts from the sea coast in Novi Vinodolski and rises towards Gorski kotar in the direction of the highest inhabited place in Croatia – Begovo Razdolje.

  • PLAIN GREEN PATHS
    Ravnogorje green trails offer you the opportunity to create your own trails through colorful forest areas without fear of getting lost.
    Ravnogorje cycle paths are marked with a unique marking system and are adapted for use even by users who do not know how to navigate using topographic maps.
    A complete map of Ravna Gora’s green trails has been printed, in which the main cycling paths, natural sights, cultural monuments, accommodation, catering and other service facilities in the area of Ravna Gora have been marked. You can get a ticket at the Tourist Office in Ravna Gora.
    Due to the unique way of marking, it is very easy to create a track according to your own wishes and possibilities.
    Using a map and a table with information about the paths, it is possible to create paths of a certain length, slope and type of surface on which to move.

D) HUNTING AND FISHING

HUNTING TOURISM
In the hunting grounds of Gorski kotar, hunting for red deer, roe deer, wild boar and bear is distinguished. Woodcock is the most attractive game of hunting tourism. Also, grouse and pheasant are hunted here, and big game is deer, roe deer, wild boar, mouflon and fox.

Gorski kotar offers great opportunities for sports and recreational fishing: along the Čabranka river from its source to its mouth, the Kupa river from its source to Severina, the Dobra river from its source to Gomirje.
